Fossil mammoth ivory (FMI) cello bow tip made to industry standard size of .56+" width X 1.4" length X .235++" head height. Floor is 1 mm + thick. 83 degree or 90 degree milled head - your choice. The 90 degree tips are the industry standard and your order will be filled with them unless we hear from you otherwise. Just place your order and then email us through our contact page to let us know if you want all or part of them at 83 degree. If we do not hear from you the order will be filled with 90 degree milled heads.

We select the lightest colored musical instrument grade mammoth ivory available for these parts but this is ancient mammoth ivory and it is seldom as light in color as elephant ivory. If you want whiter bow tips we strongly suggest purchasing our pre-ban elephant ivory tips. Most of our mammoth ivory is an almond color.
