Ivory and Horn Knife Scales
Ivory Knife Scales:
We provide legal ivory for knife handles, scales, and slabs.
When it comes to knife handles we have camel bone, water buffalo horn and pre-ban elephant ivory (PBE). While we can cut many custom sizes you will see several items below that are commonly requested. If you have a custom request please go to our contact page and email us about the slab sizes you are interested in. Be sure to email all three dimensions (L X W X H) in inches of your request and keep your request to the bare minimum needed so you can get the best price. This is not lumber - this is ivory. If you think in terms of lumber you need to purchase wood from another website.
Our slabs are finely cut and they are properly cut. You will receive book matched and flawless slabs. The frame side of each slab is sanded very smooth and the cut side is cut very smooth. The thickness is such that the slabs will finish at that thickness without a problem. For instance, a 1/4 inch thick slab is cut at .260" + + so you can expect it to finish up at .250".
