Ivory & Ebony Teapot Insulators
Ivory and ebony insulators for silver teapots and coffeepots! We make traditional solid ivory insulators for sterling teapots and we also make them from black buffalo horn to replace ebony insulators. The ivory one's are are for US customers only - no exceptions. The black buffalo horn insulators can ship internationally and are preferred over ebony insulators because they are much stronger and hold up well in this application.
Below you will see several size offerings and all in round shape. These are the most commonly purchased insulators as most silversmiths purchase these and then re-shape them, if need be, to be oval for the particular teapot they are restoring. Please feel free to email if you have questions.
